"The American Embassy is seeking two individuals for the position of Life Safety Technician in the Facilities Section."
BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The incumbent is responsible to maintain all aspects of the various life-safety systems installed in the Chancery, USG owned residential properties and STL residents.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
NOTE:  All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
1. Education required: Completion of secondary school (both ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels) and attainment of advanced certificate/diploma in electrical and electronic applications.
2.  Work Experience required: Minimum of four years progressively responsible experience in the electrical or electronic field.
3. Language required:  English level III both spoken and written.
4.  Knowledge required: Must have full working knowledge in electrical theories and safety procedures and be proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
5. Skills and Abilities required: Must be able to and work independently.  Proper use of both hand tools and electrical or electronic testing equipment is required.  Must be available for on-call duty 24 hours a day.  Must hold a valid drivers’ license with classes B, CM, DL.
