Partners In Health/Inshuti Mu Buzima is a Harvard-affiliated international NGO that has partnered with the Government of Rwanda to strengthen the health system and support poverty reduction initiatives in rural Rwanda since 2005.

PIH/IMB is seeking outstanding candidates for the following position.

Position Title: Medical Monitor
Location: Kayonza-Cross site

Role Purpose:

Reporting to the Medical Stock coordinator, the medical stock Monitor is responsible for managing an inventory of medical supplies and equipment.

Major responsibilities:

-Receive and store medical deliveries
-Distribute and keep medical supplies and equipment lists/forms in use for cross sites.
-Prepare distribution lists and carry out distribution medicines to different sites supported by PIH/IMB
-Monitor refrigerator temperatures to ensure medicines are kept at appropriate temperatures
-Provide quality customer services to program beneficiaries
-Carry out daily opening and closing of medical stock
-Prepare daily reports of the stock movement
-Carry out the following inventory management activities:

   -Fill the stock cards in relation to stock movements.
   -File daily requisition records,
   -File stock cards,

-Enter all data related to medical stock movement.
-Carry out inventory reconciliations, matching stock in records with actual stock held in stores
-Produce weekly and monthly reports
-Work with the stock Coordinator to perform biannual stock taking.
-Perform any other duties related task assigned to him/her by the supervisor.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

The following Skills, knowledge and abilities are required for the job:

-University degree Nursing (A0) or Diploma in Pharmacy (A1)
-Experience in an Administrative or supply chain/stock management role, preferably in NGO
-Knowledge of medical stock management is an added advantage
-Computers skills: Excel and Word
-Excellent organizational skills
-Strong Communication skills
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in highly collaborative environment
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse clients.
