Requirements:
The ideal candidate should be able to assist
Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic in:
• Performing preventative maintenance based on predetermined service schedules.
• Performing fault finding and diagnostic test of engines, transmission and drive trains
• Performing installation, maintenance, repair and/or replacement of defective components on trucks
• Attending to vehicle breakdowns
• Maintaining shop tools and equipment in good, safe and clean working order, and reports deficiencies
Personnel Specifications
• Preferably a Diploma in Automotive Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Must currently be employed as Truck Mechanic with a minimum 3 years work experience on trucks
• Must have prior work experience on MAN, Nissan and Mercedes Benz trucks
• Must have excellent problem solving, diagnostic and fault finding skills.
• Must be able to work within a team
