The Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of NIC Bank Limited, Kenya; it started operations in June 2012 as a fully licensed commercial bank.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The NC Bank Head of Treasury is a senior management position reporting to the Head of Business.
The job holder will be responsible for the Bank's treasury activities which include:-
Offering technical guidance and leadership to ALCO on Assets and Liabilities Management.
Management of the Bank's treasury assets in order to maximise returns in line with budget.
Taking lead of the treasury sales activities.
Ensuring strict adherence to policies, guidelines and approved limits related to treasury activities.
Proactively managing the Bank's liquidity and funding requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Head of Treasury should hold a good degree from a recognised university. An MBA will be an added advantage.
- The applicant must also possess an ACI dealing certificate
- All candidates must have a good understanding of the regulatory environment, customer requirements and treasury operations.
- Possess at least five years’ experience in commercial banking three of which must have been at management level in the treasury sector.
