Job Description:
We are an indigenous health communications NGO operating nationally in Uganda through the provision of quality behavior change communication programs. STF seeks suitable candidates for the following positions
FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION OFFICER- Based in Kitgum

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Handle administrative issues, process payments, review accountabilities to facilitate Youth Centre activities;.
•Carry out bank reconciliation, receive and bank all revenues generated from the Centre accounts;
•Prepare financial reports and posting all financial transactions of the Youth Centre into the Navision software;
•Support the budgeting process at the Centre and consolidate the master budget for the Centre;
•Ensure proper filing of all finance and accounting documents;

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
•A Degree in Commerce or Business administration (Accounting option).

EXPERIENCE:
•Working experience of two years with knowledge in accounting packages especially NAVISION
•Principles and practices of general, fund, and NGO, accounting;
•Budgeting; laws and ordinances relating to the financial administration of donor funded agencies;
•Principles and practices of petty cash management, business data processing particularly related to the processing of accounting and financial information and maintenance of donor records.
