Hours: 5 full days per weeks. Some evenings and weekends may be required
Salary: Negotiable. Paid in TSH at the end of the calendar month
Simbas Footprints Children’s Home, located in Majengo Mtei, Moshi Tanzania is currently looking for an Orphanage Manager. We are a young and dynamic non-profit- organization registered in Tanzania run by a Swiss and Swedish team. Duration:
This is a role that requires a strong commitment. You will build a long lasting relationship with not only the directors but also the other staff and the children at the home.

Major responsibilities:
· Maintaining the day to day administrative work of the Children’s Home
· Dealing with regular bookkeeping from Simbas Footprints Tanzania
· Regularly visiting the social welfare
· Being responsible for all schooling and health of the children
· Organizing weekly staff meetings and dealing with other employees and work issues
· Dealing with local authorities and representing Simbas Footprints outside the organization
· Implementation of Simbas Footprints objectives and budget in close collaboration with the directors
· Keeping the Swiss and Swedish Directors informed about all developments by high volume contacts and reports

Your profile:
You have commanding personality and minimum 2 years experience in the field of NPO/NGO activities. This role requires the candidate to be able to work independently and take initiative in a range of areas.
In addition you are required to:
· Have experience with children and with social work
· Excellent management and leading skills
· A good knowledge and understanding of African culture and traditions
· Good computer skills including proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel
· A full driving license
· The minimum age is requirement for this position is 35 years
· Excellent written and spoken English is a must; Knowledge of Swahili is an asset
