Legacyxp is seeking to hire a Business Development Consultant with a background in Communications and Marketing and a specific interest in Audio, Media and Events.

The ideal candidate has a strong entrepreneurial spirit and has experience with creating Marketing and Communication strategies in a creative and dynamic environment. The Business Development Consultant will be managing Audio equipment Legacyxp has recently invested in and his/her main responsibility will be to develop the proper marketing and sales strategy and execute this to obtain fast ROI and revenue growth. The candidate will play a critical role in the development of Legacyxp who is looking at expanding their business into different markets.

Additional Information: Responsibilities
- Preparing business development and marketing strategies for Legacyxp focused on the audio equipment
- Researching actively for potential clients
- Pursuing and maintaining new business relationships
- Understanding and obtaining the needs of the clients
- Preparing various presentations and should regularly attend client meetings, trade shows, conferences etc
- Following up clients continuously and responding to client enquiries
- Securing business opportunities by cultivating mutually beneficial business relationship with current and potential clients
- Work with internal teams to generate ideas for pitching and proposals
- Manage and supervise client service personnel

Key Skills
- Proven business development skills necessary to identify and close large scale, complex consulting and content opportunities
- Proven ability to identify client business goals and objectives into solutions, write and present proposals to clients and negotiate and close profitable contracts
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem identification and problem solving skills
- Must be a team player and where required be able to work independently
- Must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment

Education and Experience
- Bachelor required in Media, Marketing and/or Communications
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in business development/consultative sales and/or entrepreneurial experience with a focus on Marketing Media Strategies
- Proven affinity with the Agency, Media/events and Audio sector, a Diploma in audio engineering is ideal (theoretical, technical and practical skills of audio engineering)
- Proven experience in one or more key growth processes such as new product launch, customer/branding, etc.
