Job Title: Administrative and Finance Manager
Organization: Finnish Refugee Council (FRC)

About FRC:
Finnish Refugee Council (FRC) is an NGO providing adult education and community development among refugees in Uganda since 1997 as an operational partner to OPM and UNHCR.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  •     The job holder will be tasked to develop and implement HR policies and procedures, job evaluations and performance management / measurement, and keep and develop appropriate database.
  •     Responsible for staff recruitment (adverts, applicant evaluation, interviews, contracts, orientation)
  •     Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements for HR and finance management.
  •     Prepare advance requests and payment vouchers for both cash and bank payments.
  •     Do follow-up on advance accountability
  •     Prepare timely monthly accounts.
  •     Perform any other related job tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  •     The Project Driver should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management with financial skills, Business Administration (HR specialisation) or Accounting with strong HR experience.
  •     A minimum of four years’ relevant professional work experience.
  •     Possess high level of ethics and integrity, good communication skills.
  •     Good working knowledge of budgeting and accounting procedures.
  •     Good knowledge and understanding of development issues.
