Job Summary:
The Surgeon will ensure access to safe delivery in four African District through effective and strengthened Public Private Partnership.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    Responsible for the management and clinical support to surgery ward, in order to improve quality of services and ward organization in terms of personnel, materials and equipment utilization
    Training of ward staff to apply national and international guidelines and standard
    Support to hospital HIMS
    Development of diagnosis and treatment protocols
    Collaboration to activities for continuous improvement of quality of services for mother and newborn health
    Support to monitoring and evaluation of BEmONC services delivered by the health centres of Oyam District.

Qualification Skills and Experience:
    The applicant should hold Citizenship of a State of the European Union (requirement essential for administrative issues)
    Possess a University Degree in Medicine and Surgery with further specialisation in Surgery
    Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
    Long-lasting experience in general surgery
    Experience in obstetric surgery will be an asset
    Previous experience in Developing Countries
