Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Liaise with the stakeholders on site, local authorities and communities to ensure that they are informed and consulted about Company's policies & operational activities.
Follow-up of grievances, community employment opportunities and on-going social investment activities.
Advise management on local internal community dynamics and provide feedback about the community's perception of the Company and its activities.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Anthropology or Human Resources
Certificate of attendance of a community based training course is a plus
Previous experience working with rural communities in Uganda, preferably in the Lake Albert area and in Buliisa District.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to develop and maintain good relationship with both internal and external stakeholders
Knowledge of the local language is mandatory: Alur and Rugungu.
