About UNABCEC:
Uganda National Association of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors (UNABCEC) is a non-profit, non-political, member-driven association bringing together building and civil engineering contractors as well as construction-related materials manufacturers and/or suppliers to promote their mutual interest. KSK Associates is a Professional Services Firm that provides Financial Consultancy Services including Assurance and Business Advisory Services, Business Planning, Feasibility studies & Project Proposal Preparation, Human Resource, Risk Management and Information System Solutions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    Work with the management team and the Board of Directors to draw up the annual strategic plan and activity schedule;

•     Overall responsibility of delivering the UNABCEC annual Strategic Plan;
•     Identifying and Managing of all stakeholder interests; Accounting officer of the Association;
•     Approval of the Association expenditure in line with the delegated authority of the Board of directors;
•     Lobby the Government for membership benefit and also forge partnerships with related Regional and International bodies;
•     Manage the management team in order to achieve the overall objectives of the Association;
•     Set up initiatives/events to add value to members of the Association and continue contributing to the Association;
•     Be the Brand ambassador of the Association and manage the public image of the Association;
•     Promote the visibility and contribution of the Association to promote practices of Construction and Engineering;
•     Facilitate the preparation and follow up of performance management of the Association;
•     Perform any other duties that may be allocated to you from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

•     The applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business/Economics
•     Possess a Master’s degree in Business Administration/Management is an added advantage
•     This is a high-profile, strategic and commercially orientated role available for those that have a proven history of achieving results and driving performance outcomes from positions of influence.
•     It demands proven leadership capabilities.
•     Possess a good understanding of Grant Management and Projects
•     Planning and Execution will be an added advantage.
•     Proven delivery of financial performance, business growth and effective relationship management, across a broad range of stakeholders, are key criteria for this role.
•     A pragmatic & strategic ethos combined with advanced interpersonal skills, including effectively managing public relations and competing stakeholder interests are critical aspects of this challenging role.
