About UNEB:
Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) is the national assessment body in Uganda. The UNEB Secretariat is headed by the Executive Secretary who also serves as the accounting officer to the Board.

Job Summary:
The Examinations Officer will make sure production of valid test papers in Art and Music at UCE and UACE level.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    Identifying and recommending persons for appointment as setters and moderators.
    Compiling moderated items into draft test papers
    Convening subject panel meetings and recording minutes of such meetings
    Writing timely and periodic reports on work of Candidates

    Performing any other duties in line with UNEB’s key strategic mandates.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  •     The applicant should hold a Bachelor of Education in Industrial and Fine Arts OR Bachelor of Industrial and Fine Arts with a Diploma in Education.
  •     Possess five or more years' teaching experience in Fine Arts in a Secondary School
  •     Experience in setting and/or marking public Examinations will be an added advantage.

Age: Between 25 - 45 years
