Job Summary:
 The Laboratory Technician will carry out laboratory investigations for disease diagnosis, treatment, prevention and control specifically for HIV for eligibility for circumcision.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
    Responsible for collection and handling of laboratory specimens
    Analyzing and interpreting laboratory test results and submit reports\
    Liaising with SMC team in the preparation of patients for laboratory test.
    Requisitioning and accounting for laboratory materials and sundries.
    Maintaining laboratory register for all clients using the services
    Maintaining an inventory of the laboratory equipment and ensure their functionality.
    Enforcing safety and quality control measures in the laboratory.
    Participating in research activities

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
    Possess a diploma in medical laboratory or its equivalent form a recognized institution.
    Be registered and licenced with the allied health professional’s council.
