Reporting to the Head Corporate Communication and Outreach, the job holder will Support and assist in coordinating departmental activities.
The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) is a State Authority created under an Act of Parliament No. 35 of 2011 which provides for civilian oversight of work of the police.

The jobholder will also be responsible for:
    Developing, designing and collecting materials for corporate newsletter.
    Mapping out outreach opportunities and implementing planned activities
    Facilitating and providing support for corporate communication and outreach programmes.
    Assist in Design and production of corporate messages and organizing relevant sensitization campaigns to both the customer and staff.
    Assist other departments to organize and coordinate corporate activities and events.

The successful candidate will have :
    A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media or Communications or a related discipline and a Diploma in Public Relations.
    The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years relevant management experience.
    He/she will have knowledge in communications and public relations disciplines.
    They will also be a member of a recognised professional body (e.g. Public Relations Society of Kenya).
