Local Entrepreneurship Network and Environmental Conservation (LENEC) is a growing youth-led Organization that targets to work with marginal youth and other local individuals with focus on entrepreneurship,environmental exposures and human related concerns that aim to evacuate the constraints which create and perpetuate poverty within the indigenous societies.

The Organization is governed with the mission of providing significant trainings based on socio-economic related assistances to local entrepreneurs in connection to ordinal communities to acquire overall knowledge on incidental yielding and environmental conservation, management and oppression free.

THE JOB DESCRIPTION
LENEC is looking for talented individual to join our national team as Farmer Help Desk-Online Volunteer . This volunteer shall work for at least 6 hours a week for the Organization especially on Agricultural Department.
Report to: Volunteer Co-ordinator
Who can be the LENEC Volunteer?
This position is open to individual from Morogoro region only;
He/She shall;

• Provide feedback to technical inquiries and on-farm training to peasants/farmers
• Conduct experiments or investigations in field-crop problems develops new methods of growing crops to secure more efficient production, higher yield, and also improved quality
• Plan plus carries out breeding studies at experiment stations or farms to develop & improve varieties of field crops, like cotton, tobacco, or cereal with respect to characteristics, like yield, quality, adaptation to specific soils or climates plus resistance to diseases as well as pests [Plant Breeder profess. kin. ]
• Study crop production to discover best methods of planting, cultivation, harvesting and additionally effects of various climatic conditions on crops
• Develop methods for control of noxious weeds, crop diseases, and also insect pests [Plant Pathologist profess. kin. ]

QUALIFICATION
At least Bachelor Degree in Agronomy or related field.
