Job Description:
The Gashora Girls Academy of Science and Technology is an upper-secondary boarding school for 270 girls, which is located in the Gashora Sector of Rwanda. Our vision for our students is that they will graduate as inspired young leaders filled with confidence, a love of learning, and a sense of economic empowerment to strengthen their communities and foster Rwanda’s growth.
As a dorm matron you will reports to and will be evaluated by the Dean of Students
In your role as dormitory matron you will ensure that the dormitory is clean and orderly; that the girls perform their dorm jobs; that they get up in the morning and go to sleep at night at prescribed times, you are required to sleep in the dormitory every night you are on duty
You will work with the Dining Hall Prefects to create the monthly seating chart, the table cleaning schedule, as well as the kitchen duties and follow up with the Dean
You will play other roles as directed by Dean of Students
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

-You will receive free on campus housing and board while the dining hall is open
-You will have adequate vacation holiday time during the calendar year to be approved by the Head of School in advance and taken when the school is not in session. (At no time may the dorm be without adult supervision at night)
