Job description

Program Technical Development: Lead staff to maintain and improve program quality, innovation and learning among the various projects, in line with best practices and quality standards.

Program Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for program growth.

Representation: Represent CRS in national-level meetings, sharing forums and technical working group.

Candidate description     - Skills and experience in high-level advocacy, negotiation and coalition building with multiple stakeholders and proven fundraising experience
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Existing relationships within relevant Government of Tanzania Ministries
- Demonstrated abilities in documentation of lessons learned, report-writing, M & E
- Excellent independent judgement and decision making skills
- Fluency in both English and Swahili Languages.
- Master degree in a relevant field such as international development, engineering, natural resources management and or public health.

- At least 8 years of experience working in the development sector, preferably in water sanitation and hygiene (WASH) or natural resources management and risk reduction
- Demonstrated knowledge of the cross-sectoral application of WASH strategies to improve health, livehoods and nutrition
- Technical proficiency in water supply, sanitation and hygiene program design and implementation, including development hygiene promotion campaigns and materials and experience with participatory approaches.
