About UNMU:
Our Client, Uganda Nurses and Midwives Union, (UNMU) was established and registered in 2003 to represent the Nurses and Midwives in Uganda. It is both a professional body as well as a labor organization. As a professional organization, UNMU focuses on ensuring that the profession is practiced at the highest possible standard. As a labor organization, UNMU spearheads efforts geared toward improving the socio-economic welfare of Nurses and Midwives in the country as a whole.

Job Summary: The Laboratory Technician will primarily ensure the laboratory is operational, supporting sample collection, conducting laboratory assays, and entering data for reporting, Storage of Samples, operating modern laboratory equipment

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should possess a University degree in Laboratory Sciences, or in a related discipline.
At least two years’ work-experience in a related function.
The ideal candidate should have laboratory experience; Ability to work independently; and Good report writing skills.
