The Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational Development, Eastern Africa (AKU¬IED-EA) requires a full time Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Early Childhood Education.

To support the institute developing portfolio of research and programmes in the area of Early Childhood Education, this position will be based at the Institute for Educational Development Campus, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, this is full time position commencing as soon as possible.

The responsibilities of this position include teaching across a range of programmes (graduate and non-graduate), curriculum development, and research in the area of Early Years' Education. The successful applicant will also provide support for the ongoing work in Early Childhood

Eligibility Criteria:

A PhD holder or a PhD close to completion * Research experience

Teaching experience in the area of Early Childhood education or a related area
