1. Project Management

Vacancies: One position
Functional Title: Consultant
Department: IT & GIS
Duty Station: Rubavu District
Duration of Assignment: 2 months with possibility of extension.
Contract type: Part time


Duties and Responsibilities:

    Developing, coordinating and executing the localization of potential touristic area in Rubavu District
    Accomplishing and following up budget for project
    Generate distribution strategies for touristic area in Rubavu District
    Develop partnerships with all district tourism stakeholders
    Provide details information about district touristic area attractions and facilities as well as services.

Qualification and Skills:

    University degree, preferably in marketing, Tourism or Project management.
    3 years experience in tourism or related project
    Ability to supervise staff in a dynamic, operational programme environment.
    Excellent communication and writing skills in English and French.
    Significant reporting and database experience preferably in Microsoft Access, Excel and word.
